We charge a commission to both sellers and buyers. The commission charged is 3% to the seller and 3% to the buyer of the sale price for all agricultural and sporting properties and all other properties listed except commercial properties. The commission for commercial properties is 5% paid by the seller and 5% paid by the buyer. For any and all properties of the hydrocarbons industry [i.e. oil and gas industry] the commission due to The Southern Land Company shall be 6% paid by the seller and 6% paid by the buyer. This provision and it`s commission rates applies to buildings and equipment including refineries as well as to any and all land with hydrocarbons [oil and gas] licences, prospects, production or possibilities thereof. This provision and it`s commission rates shall also apply in their entirety to any and all offshore properties and rights. The commission is due immediately at the closing of a sale.
If The Southern Land Company finds a willing buyer at the price asked for by the seller the commission is due from the seller if the seller fails to complete the transaction for whatever reason.

The website is controlled and operated in the Republic of Ireland. These Terms and Conditions are governed solely and exclusively by Irish law and you agree to submit to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts in relation to all matters connected with or arising out of the website to the exclusion of the jurisdiction of the courts of any other country. That The Southern Land Company shall from time to time appoint various correspondents and correspondent offices in Argentina, Chile or Uruguay or in other countries does not affect this law and jurisdiction provision in any way whatsoever.

Force Majeure. Should it appear that circumstances or events beyond the control of The Southern Land Company, prevent or are likely to prevent the Southern Land Company from carrying out it’s obligations to a client, the Southern Land Company shall be relieved of all liability arising from such circumstances, events, and failures, whether the Southern Land Company has been paid or not. The Southern Land Company shall not be liable for any injury or loss arising from acts of God, climatic events, unlawful acts of others, civil commotion, riots, explosion, accident, flooding, storm, hurricane, landslip, land-heave, earthquake, mud-slides, rock-slides, delays by third parties, failure, cancellation or disruption of suppliers subcontractors and carriers, strikes, lockouts, picketing, war, warlike operations, terrorism, seizures of civil process, bankruptcies, repudiation abandonment or postponement of debt, failure of transport and any form of communications, rules, regulations, orders, acts or directives of courts or governments and any departments or officials thereof, embargo, blockade, sanctions, guarantee, epidemic, infestation or plague, quarantine, illnesses or requisitions.
The English language shall be the sole and exclusive language of these terms and conditions of business to the exclusion of all other languages.

We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. If any of these terms and conditions are invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these terms and conditions shall continue to have full force and effect.

No drinks or air flights or other transportation costs are included nor is personal injury or any other insurance provided. Insurances can be provided at the special request of clients. Telephone or other communications costs are not included. These rates and terms are subject to amendment and change without notice.
